This series explores what it is like to be a spiritual seeker and Priestess in the 21st century.

Is there more direct access to the Divine in the world now?

I’m interviewing women involved in my Priestess Training Program to find out!

I am deeply curious by nature and am always asking questions and seeking greater understanding and wisdom. I am a visual artist and energy worker obsessed with personal transformation and expansion. I am an astrology geek who speaks in terms of planetary energies and archetypes. I am a devoted wife and mother and a believer in magic and in the unseen.

I desire a world of acceptance and love and believe that we hold the power to our collective healing.

I often feel like I am always undergoing a metamorphosis. It began with my Reiki journey which opened me up to energy in a way that was palpable. It awakened an awareness within me and gave me a tool to support my healing and transformation.

It also opened the door for me to cultivate a strong relationship to Spirit.

Recognizing the Sacred Feminine and finding a sense of home as I centered my practice around the Goddess has been truly life changing and it is a relationship that is ever evolving and growing.

Currently, I am emerging from a period of profound inner transformation which has brought me face to face with the fears and limitations that have been operating for much of my life.

It has been an experience of releasing and shedding old ways and making space for what rings true for me and ignites passion and purpose in my heart.

Not easy but necessary for my soul growth so I just roll with it with as much patience and grace as I can tap into.

Embracing my sensitivity and uniqueness and realizing that being a sensitive empath is a gift.

Also, allowing myself to be a work in progress.

Realizing that this beautiful life as a human is a journey in becoming has given me an opportunity to be okay with who I am and where I am in this moment while also giving me space to expand beyond that.

Compassion, understanding, empathy and a genuine appreciation and love for diversity in all things. I feel strongly that one of my greatest strengths is my ability to meet someone where they are at on their journey with open arms and an eager ear. I love to listen to and bear witness to what some may see as weird or different.

It is my wish that all people feel supported and accepted and if I can nurture even a small part of someone’s journey to becoming healed and whole I feel I am on path.

I was raised by a Lutheran Father and a Catholic Mother, both with very deep roots in their faith. I remember prayers before bedtime and church on Sundays and growing up with a desire to connect with God but never really truly feeling at home in the Church.

It took me a long time to give myself permission to question the beliefs that my parents instilled upon me as a child and to explore traditions, practices and expressions of the Divine that felt right and true for me.

It has not always been easy to be the one in my family to question the beliefs that I was raised with but it has felt so completely necessary for me in embracing my whole self and honoring my personal truth.

While I am grateful for my upbringing and the power of faith my parents taught me, I have chosen to liberate myself and pave my own spiritual path.

Learning how to say no when something doesn’t vibe with me.  As a recovering people pleaser this has been something that has been huge in allowing me to align with people and experiences that are healthy and contribute to me achieving balance and a sense of peace and joy within myself.

Each time I listen to my inner voice I feel as though I expand deeper into my power and elevate myself more and more.

This isn’t always easy and I am far from perfect in always feeling empowered but as with all things it is a practice in cultivating more conscious awareness around claiming my power and acting from that place.

I consider ritual to be the touchpoint of my day. It keeps me grounded and connected and is an essential part of my morning.  I begin by connecting to my breath, my Higher Self, my guides and angels, and the Divine Mother. I ask for guidance and pull tarot and oracle cards to get an idea of the energy surrounding my day. I use visualization and intention to align with my highest expression and divine love.

I also am very cognizant of my energy throughout the day and will take time as needed to tune in if I am feeling pulled off center or overwhelmed by what’s going on in the world around me.

For me, ritual and ceremony can be as simple or complex as we need it to be and both are right. I don’t really follow any rules and feel that spiritual practice can be whatever we make of it.

I enjoy the freedom and flexibility of allowing myself to play and incorporate sacred moments throughout my day.

My blessing for future Priestesses is that you discover beauty and magic in your life and

You realize that your potential is boundless.

It takes such bravery to honor the calling to be of service and to claim your role as a Priestess and

By stepping on to this path you inspire others to do the same.

For that I celebrate and honor you! May your journey be filled with soul nourishing experience and connection.
